Duke’s Return From Ghana
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, November 30. The Duke of Edinburgh brought a scarlet Heron airliner of the Queen's Flight into a ground-controlled landing in heavy drizzle at the Royal Air Force station at Marham, Norfolk, today on his return from his Ghana tour. At the end of his 3500-mile flight from Accra, the Duke was smiling and sun-tanned. He told officers who welcomed him: “It
was a very good flight Indeed and the refuelling stops give one a chance to stretch one’s legs.”
