WARRANTS OF FITNESS
“Have It Done Notv”
If your car is due for a renewal of a warrant of fitness just before Christmas, “have it done now,” is the advice of the City Council Traffic Superintendent (Mr G. P. Kellar). “There is always a rush for warrants of fitness just before Christmas,” said Mr Kellar yesterday. “This inevitably results in some motorists having to wait their turn at the testing station.” The City Council testing station in Lichfield street was kept “fairly busy” now, said Mr Kellar, but there was room for more testing. He said he would like to remind motorists that for the convenience of workers who found difficulty in taking time off during the day, the station was open on Mondays and Tuesdays between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
