Market Fully Firm, At Geelong Wool Sales
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright/ GEELONG, December 1. The market was fully firm at the Geelong wool sales today on last week’s inter-State rates with any change in sellers’ favour. The chief buyers were the Continent, Japan, the United Kingdom, Eastern Europe with support from local mills. Competition was extremely keen and widespread. There was a full clearance of 17.480 bales offered. Crossbred prices: Good to super 56’s, 76d per lb; extra super 64's, 112 d; good to super 50’s, 70cL
