COACH FOR N.Z. TEAM
Suggestion Made To N.Z.A.A.A.
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. December 1. The New Zealand Amateur Athletic Coaches’ Association feels it is essential that a coach accompany the 1960 Olympic team to Rome. It expressed this view in a letter received at tonight's meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association management committee. The coaches asked the N.Z.A.A.A. to put to the Olympic and Empire Games Association the case for a coach being included in the team as manager, co-manager or any other official position. The meeting decided to defer consideration of the subject until the team was selected.
