Criticism By P.A.T.A. Director (New Zeatana Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 1. Hotel accommodation would have to be “jacked up a bit” if the travel impact predicted by the Pacific Area Travel Association occurred in the next year or so, an executive director of P.A.T.A., Mr F. M. Plake, told an executive meeting today of the New Zealand Travel and Holidays Association. He said the problem of accommodation was world-wide. “You can’t expect tourists to live in trees,” in commenting that in some places hotel accommodation was abominable.
