Charitable Bequests Three charitable bequests totalling about £5OOO are provided for in the will of Rosa Goodsall who died in Christchurch on September 17, 1959. After making for several personal legacies her will provides that the residue of her estate, which will amount to about £5OOO, be divided equally among the Venerable Order of St. John (Canterbury and West Coast centre), the Nurse Maude District Nursing Association Trust Board, and the North Canterbury Centre of the New Zealand Red Cross Society. The public Trustee is the executor of the wilt Mobile X-Ray Unit In the Papanui shopping centre yesterday the Health Department’s mobile chest X-ray unit handled 350 persons—the largest number for some time. During the week 1136 persons were X-rayed in the Papanui area. On Monday the unit will be on the corner of Knowles street and Bretts road from 9 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., on the corner of McFaddens road and Rutland street, 11 a.m. to 12.15 p.m., on the corner of Mays road and Norfolk street from 12.45 p.m. to 2 p.m., and on the corner of Halton street and Urunga avenue from 2.45 p.m. to 4 p.m. Fishing Rivers Only three rivers, the Halswell, Selwyn and Ashley are clear and flshable for week-end anglers, according to the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society’s report at 9 a.m. yesterday. The Waiau, Hurunui, Waimakariri and the Rakaia are all either dirty or discoloured.
