Good fields of stayers in the Waikato Gold Cup and three-year-olds in the Waikato Guineas should provide interesting racing in the main events on the second day of the Waikato Racing Club’s meeting at Te Rapa tomorrow. The double will be on the cup and the Kirikirlroa Handicap. There were showers in the middle of the week and the ground eased considerably. It will be in excellent order if there Is no further rain. Selections:— Noon.—Waimal Hurdles: Mahuta. Glenreagh, Sea Contour. 2.40 p.m.—Frankton Hack Handicap.—First Division: Firenze, Hot Punch. Second Division: Whiteoaks, Terehau. 1.20 p.m.—Ruakura Stakes: Challen, Stipulate, Chatsmore. 2 p.m.—Waikato Gold Cup: Old Salt, Manchu, Maori Legend. \2.40 p.m.—Waikato Guineas: Commodore Roberts, Grasher, Goldmyth. 3.20 p.m.—Linley Hack HandicapFirst Division: Gitano, Tabess. Second Division: Time Alone, Seafarer. 4 p.m.—Kirikirlroa Handicap: Messalina, Somain, Donna Paola. 4.40 p.m.—Hamilton Hack Handicap: Hawaii, Waerere Boy, My Sun.
