DC-3 Replacement
Sir,—Never in all my life have I seen anything to match the antics of the heads of N.A.C. in trying to justify buying the Friendships as a replacement for the DC-3. The time and space spent in this defence almost convince me that the Dart Herald could be better suited to our requirements. Finally, I would ask Mr Mathison, how long has it been unsafe to use grass airports? —Yours, etc., BILLY MUGGINS. November 12, 1959.
