Bishop Replaces Dowling The Canterbury Cricket Association has advised that the West Christ-church-University batsman, G. T. Dowling, has withdrawn from the Canterbury team to meet South Canterbury today because of university examinations. Dowling’s place in the Canterbury team for this match will be taken by A. T. Bishop (Old Collegians). I Hawke’s Bay Players Nominated For Trial (New Zealand Press Association) NAPIER, November U. Eight Hawke’s Bay cricketers have been nominated for selection in the trial match which will be played at Palmerston North on November 26 27, and 28, prior to the selection of the Central Districts Plunket Shield side. They are: R. T. Barber. G. E BiShop, P. J. Coutts. F. E. Fisher. B A. Helbner. G. Jamieson, R. G. Small, and K. F. H. Smith. ' J
