Japanese Writing Worries Officials.—The irregularity in the direction of Japanese writing in government departments is worrying officials. The deputy director of the Administrative Management Agency.’Mr Inumaru, presented a report outlining the confusion in official documents caused by some civil servants „who wrote traditionally from top to bottom while others wrote from left to right.—Tokyo.
