Dutch Reeds For Thatching In U.K.
(From a Reuter Correspondent) BIRMINGHAM. Reeds from the dykes and canals of Holland are being imported to offset the shortage of thatching straw in this area. Thatched roofs are again in demand and nearly 40 thatchers are at work on buildings in this city and the surrounding towns.
