Wellington Accidents
For the first nine months of 1959 there have been 59 fewer road accidents in Wellington and 99 fewer injuries than there were in the corresponding period last year. The Wellington City Council Traffic Superintendent (Mr J. Anderson) said yesterday there had been 350 personal injury accidents this year, resulting in 477 persons suffering some injury. Nine were fatal.—(P.A.)
