Reserves Still Rising
New Zealand’s overseas reserves continued to rise in the week ended September 16. At that date, according to preliminary figures issued yesterday by the Reserve Bank, net overseas assets of the banking system totalled £ 109.7 m, a rise of £l.6m in the week. The latest figure compares with £ 54.3 m on September 17, 1958, and with £ 90.3 m on September 18, 1957.
