Sales of Winstone, Ltd., Auckland, in the year ended June 30 rose from last year's record level by £236.040 to a new peak of £9,326,506. Consolidated net profit increased by £51,409, or 22.4 per cent., to £280,785. Dividend has been raised from 7} per cent, to 81 per cent., through the declaration of a 1 per cent, bonus, and requires £78,285. The sum of £Bl,OOO has been credited to reserves compared with £140.000 in the previous year, when a substantial realisation on capital assets was included. The year’s net results. after deducting outside shareholders’ interests and adding tax over-provided in the previous year of £3452. exceeds the appropriations by £11,346, raising the carry-for-ward to £753,010.
