COMMONWEALTH TOURNAMENT
South Africa’s Team Chosen (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 11 p.m.) JOHANNESBURG, Sept. 18. South Africa, which meets Canada on the first day, has chosen a strong team for the Commonwealth amateur golf tournament which begins on November 3. Denis Hutchison, the South African open champion, and Arthur Walker, the amateur title-holder, are in the six-man team. Others are Reg Taylor (captain), Jimmy Boyd, Bob Williams and Jannie le Roux. The reserves are Murray Grindrod and Alan Jackson. Taylor and Boyd are both former South African amateur and open champions.
