‘‘Amiable References To Fuchs’ 9 (Special Correspondent N.Z.P.A.) LONDON, September 16. No angry words could be expected in “No Latitude For Error,” Sir Edmund Hillary’s forthcoming book on the Commonwealth trans-Antarctic Expedition, says the ’’Daily Express” in a report from Wellington.
References to Sir Vivian Fuchs were amiable. Sir Edmund Hillary had glossed over the tussle with Sir Vivian Fuchs which preceded his unscheduled side trip to the South Pole.
