Success In Relay By Auckland Teams
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 30. Three Auckland teams, Lynndale. Owairaka and Onehunga, filled the majoi placings In the annual Wellington to Masterton 62J mile road relay race on Saturday. Scottish of Wellington was fourth. Lynndale set a race record of shr 34m in 51sec, which bettered Scottish’s 1956 effort by more than three minutes. Owairaka also bettered the l old time
Masterton was awarded the Heliopolis Cup for the most improved performance
