<N Z Press Association —Copurioni < BRISBANE. Aug. 25. New Zealand’s wrestling team was held to a draw last night by 13 tough, fit Quenslanders. Each team won six bouts and one was drawn in the opening contest of the 10match Australian tour. Buck Samrai, a massive 20-stone Indian from Cairns. clinched lhe draw for Queensland when lie pinned New Zealand’s 15-stone Warren Hubber in the final contest.
The New Zealanders—some are suffering from bad canvas burns and bruises after tumbles from the builtup arena—will travel today to Southport where they will wrestle a Brisbane team tonight.
