Frasers Win Control Of Harrods

House of Fraser, Ltd., a Scottish drapery group headed by the millionaire Mr Hugh Fraser, has won a prolonged struggle | with Debenhams. Ltd., for control of Harrods, Ltd., Knightsbridge. stores. Mr Fraser has announced that he has been guaranteed at least '5l per cent, of Harrods' ordinary shares.
Australia-N.Z. Trade.—Australian exports to New Zealand, which imposed more severe import licensing during the year, fell from £A55.5m to £A49.6m in the year ended June 30. according to trade statistics published today.—N.Z.P.A., Canberra, August 25.
