TRAVEL BOY FAVOURITE
Warwick Farm
Stakes
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 9 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 21. At his first start since the autumn, the New Zealand-bred Derby favourite, Travel Boy, is odds-on favourite to win the Hobartville Stakes at Warwick Farm tomorrow.
In a field of eight, Travel Boy is expected to make a successful return to racing. Martello Towers, a last-start winner to be ridden by G. Podmore, is second favourite and may be the chief danger to Travel Boy. Several Epsom Handicap candidates will be seen in the Campbelltown Handicap over six furlongs. They are Noholme, Lady Cortauld, Man of Iron, and Bardshah. Noholme is a younger brother of the champion Todman, and will be ridden by Neville Sellwood, who has struck winning form in the last two Sydney meetings. Sellwood rode a treble at Canterbury last Saturday and again there on Wednesday. Nohlme is the early favourite for the sprint in the wide betting market.
