Bounty-seeking hunters in Western Australia’s north soon might turn to camel shooting in the Laverton area, 600 miles from Perth, where wild camels are becoming a big nuisance. The Laverton Road Board has asked the Agriculture Protection Board to give a bonus of Cl for each camel tail. Droves of camels are

wandering through fences in the Laverton district, letting sheep out and drinking outlying sheep troughs dry.—Perth, August 13.
