Newmarket Car Park Building Opened
(New Zealand Press Association) I AUCKLAND, July 27. The Newmarket Borough Council has become the first local body to erect a car parking building, although the one opened on Saturday by the Mini-' ster of Railways (Mr Moohan) is Auckland's third. Schemes such as the parking j building illustrated the manner j in which the Newmarket Eor-: ough Council and councils all over New Zealand gave their services unselfishly to their communities. said Mr Moohan. Business people in the borough provided £50,000 in loan money for the car park.
