Table Tennis TOURNAMENTS AT AUCKLAND
Problem Created By Record Entry (New Zeaiana Press Association) WELLINGTON. July 21. The New Zealand Table Tennis Association has received a record entry for this year’s inter-association teams' tournaments to be held in Auckland on August 31 and September 1. The entry of 40 teams has already created an administrative problem. The tournaments are to be played in the new Auckland Y.M.C.A. building which has accommodation for about 16 tables. Mr T. S. Williams, the convenor of the New Zealand draw and seeding committee, said today that 19 tables would be required to run the tournaments, for which 21 men's teams and 19 women’s teams are entered.
