BENCE REFUSED PERMIT

Return Bout With Drapp (Neto Zeaiana Press Association) WELLINGTON. July 21. The Texan wrestler. Jack Bence, han been refused a permit by the police to wrestle in Wellington. Bence figured in a dramatic contest with the Frenchman. Andre Drapp, last week, and they were to have had a return bout next Thursday evening. In last week's bout the referee (Mr Jack Prestney) was knocked unconscious, and the police stopped the match after each wrestler declared himself the winner. The secretary of the Dominion Wrestling Union (Mr J. C. Steel) confirmed this afternoon that Bence had been refused a licence.
