N.Z. ACCOUNTANTS’ ANNIVERSARY
Society Convention In 1960 tNew Zeaiano Pres. Association/ WELLINGTON, July 20. The New Zealand Society of Accountants will mark its fiftieth anniversary with a special jubilee convention which will be held at Wellington in March. 1960 The society was incorporated in 1908 by snecial Act of Parliament and its first general meeting in 1910 was attended by 100 members , Today the society has nearly 7000 members and the 1960 convention and annual meeting will be attended by many hundreds of members. During the convention. Sir Douglas Copland, New Zealandborn economist and now principal of the Australian Administrative Staff College, will speak on New Zealand’s place in an expanding world economy.
