Lions Disappointed, But Confident

(New Zealand Press association) DUNEDIN, July 19. "We were disappointed at losing, but there are three other tests coming up,” said both Mr A. W. Wilson, the manager of the British Isles Rugby team, and A. R. Dawson, the captain, at the dinner held for the Lions and the All Blacks after Saturday's test. Both teams, as well as several former All Blacks who had played against British teams either In Britain or New Zealand, were guests of the New Zealand Rugby Union. All were welcomed by Mr C. S. Hogg, the chairman of the N.Z.R.U. executive. The toast to the Lions was proposed by Mr G. A. Brown, president of the N Z.R.U. He said that although New Zealand had won through' penalty goals he had no apologies to offer The game was meant to be played within the rules. He congratulated both teams on the spirit in which the match had been played.
