Miners Believed To Be Dead
1 SYDNEY. July 18. Miners today continued their round-the-clock efforts to reach the bodies of two miners trapped in a rock fall at the south mine at Broken Hill. 699 miles west of Sydney, almost a week ago. Any hope that they will be found alive has been abandoned.
