Squash Team To Tour
The proposed tour of Australia by a New Zealand squash rackets team will give further impetus to a sport which is fast growing in popularity in the Dominion. It is intended that the tour be made early in. August, and preparations will shortly be made for a comprehensive series of trials, from which the New Zealand team of four men will be chosen.
Test *
The team will play a test match, participate in an international carnival, and also meet five State sides as well as playing in the Australian championships. When tne Australian team visited New Zealand last season an international match was played, and the members of the 1958 New Zealand team will undoubtedly be well to the fore in the forthcoming trials. They are A. Johns <Palmerston North), D. Mochan (Hawke's Bay). G. Davidson (Oamaru), and N. Coe (Timaru).
