Our Eulogy Sold For 1200 Guineas

The top price of 1200gns at the dispersal sale of Mr and Mrs C. Nestor-Bayliss's horses at Greenmeadows last week was brought by the brood mare Our Eulogy, which is in foal to Knight’s Romance. She was purchased by Mr A. J. Parkinson, Opotiki. The next best prices for brood mares were 500gns for Sally Bridge, in foal to Clarification: 350gns for Lady Hopeful, in foal to Resurgent; 280gns for Variation with a colt foal at foot by Mainbrace; 200gns for Cocoashah and 200gns for Reconcile. Marco James, at 80Ogns, topped the prices for racehorses. He was secured by the Woodville trainer S. A. Brown as agent. Others in this section which brought 200gns or more were Past Question (400gns), Red Marie <3oogns). Red Route (300gns), False Relation (290gns), Summer Joy (270 gns) and Snap (200gns). There were 43 lots sold for an aggregate of 7300gns. i
