Not Tested Jimmy Hill recorded his second successive win for his Riccarton owner, Mrs L. K. Page, when he practically outclassed the others in tin- Sealield Hack Handicap. Jimmy Hill did not have a trouble-free run. He became awkwardly placed near the half mile and came to the straight in Hie middle of Hie field. But he dashed through quickly going to the furlong. sped clear in a few strides, and won running away by three lengths from Geysel, which caught Wild Clover close to home. Geysel was a fast finisher from well ' back in the field, but Wild ('lover made his bid from a trailing position. Wild Clover mastered King Lyn early in the run home and led into the last furlong. Cheroot was a creditable fourth only a head behind Wild Clover. They were together on the home turn. The weakening King Lyn was fifth, just beating Tauntress. which was towards the middle of the field iusl ahead of Jimmy Hill half way through the race.
