Weather Forecasts

Sir, —My friends and I have often wondered why the weather forecast over the air is so often late in arriving at its destination. We suggest that possibly if the Weather Office described where the weather was coining from and whither it was going instead of saying where it was to arrive before it had left, it might get there on time. If the weather situation is developing from the south the district forecast should be given from the south northwards, and vice versa, thus giving a truer weather picture and perhaps helping the weather on its way.—Yours, etc., WEATHER OR NO?
