Gold Star Points
Bruce McLaren, New Zealand’s champion driver, continues to make a great impression in motor-racing in Europe. Up to May 15, McLaren had scored 60 points towards the British Racing Drivers’ Club Gold Star, only one point less than the British champion, Stirling Moss. Australia’s Jack Brabham led the competition with 86 points.
