Mistaken Alarm
One morning this week, in the middle of a hailstorm.'., someone saw a bright orange flame on the roof of the Mayfair Theatre, ir New Plymouth and hurriedly called the New Plymouth Fire Brigade. The general alarm sent every engine to the scene. There was a flame on the roof—but it was coming from a plumber's blowlamp.
