Fewer Passengers On Auckland Buses
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 27. The number of passengers carried by Auckland Transport Board vehicles during the past year was 54,373,481,* said Mr C. R. Gribble, general manager, in his report to the annual meeting of the .board today. It was 225,391 fewer passengers than during the previous year.
He added that trolley-buses had run 2,745,050 miles or 30.571 fewer miles than the previous year, and that other buses had run 5,537,893 or 167.595 fewer miles.
