ENGAGEMENT FOR D. N. HADFIELD
Riding In Sydney
The Washdyke jockey, D. N. Hadfield, will go to Sydney. He has been engaged to do some of the riding for Mr Duncan McFarlane’s team, which is being trained at Warwick Farm by A. E. Didham. Mr McFarlane has six horses in Sydney, and they will be joined by the unraced two-year-old, Dilraida. which will be in Hadfield’s charge on the trip to Sydney.
Dalraida has been at Riccarton for the last few days, and will be taken north this evening. Members of Mr McFarlane’s team have won about £15.000 in Australia. All Mr McFarlane’s winners in Sydney have been ridden by B. Howlett, who will continue to act as No. 1 horseman for the team. Answer to Correspondent
