Equipment Cost Of Station (New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, May 14. The farmers of Otago were so vitally concerned with the need for a diagnostic station that Federated Farmers had undertaken to raise £lO,OOO towards the capital cost of equipping such a station, the president of Otago Federated Farmers (Mr T. Burnside) told the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Skinner) at Taieri today. “Buildings which could readily be converted into a diagnostic station are already available at Taieri and staff accommodation is available,” Mr Burnside said.
