Cycling One-Hour Unpaced Record Broken
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND. May 14. The young Manukau cyclist, K. Wilbraham, broke a difficult record at the Western Springs stadium tonight. His successful attempt was on the New Zealand one-hour unpaced record held by S. J. Taylor, of Christchurch. who recorded 25 miles 267 yards. When the gun sounded tonight Wilbraham was 195 yards beyond this distance.
