Certain Starter Tomorrow "The Press** Special Service INVERCARGILL May 14 Melodic has made a good recovery from the Injury which kept him out of action last week, and he will run in the Tetua Handicap on the second day of the Southland Racing Club’s winter meeting on Saturday. Capet may contest the Pukemaori Hurdles in preference to the Southland Steeplechase. Brig o’ Cally is likely to be produced in the Southland SteeplechMe in preference to the Orepußi Steeples. Definite plans had not been made for the pair yesterday, however. Croken Bawn worked nicely with Erinora over six furlongs, the final half-mile in 57sec. Hutchinson Out For Month

(N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) ADELAIDE, May 14. A leading Melbourne jockey, Ron Hutchinson, was suspended for a month yesterday when stewards concluded an inquiry into interference suffered by Power Duke in the Goodwood Handicap at Morphettville last Saturday. Stewards last Saturday charged Hutchinson with careless riding on Count Tassia, but adjourned the inquiry. The adjournment enabled Hutchinson to fulfil his engagement for the heavily-backed favourite Gayboa, in yesterday’s Adelaide Cup. The gelding finished ninth. The inquiry was adjourned to enable Hutchinson to call a jockey, A. Burton, to give evidence on his behalf. However, Burton did not attend the resumed hearing today. Hutchinson will resume riding at the VJLC.’s birthday meeting at Flemington on June 13.
