HOSPITAL IN NEW HEBRIDES
Two New Zealanders Appointed New Zealanders have been appointed to the posts of matron and assistant matron of the new Presbyterian Hospital shortly to be opened at Epi, in the New Hebrides. The matron will be Miss Mary Walls and the assistant matron, Miss K. Gillanders. The new hospital, which is now completed, has been built from funds subscribed by New Zealanders through the New Zealand Lepers’ Trust Board, and news of the two principal n.ursing appointments has been received by the secretary of the board (Mr P. J. Twomey).
