School Committees’ Composition.—A move to prevent teachers from standing for election to the committee of the school in which they are teaching, was rejected by the New Zealand Educational Institute annual meeting in Wellington yesterday. A remit seeking teacher-representation on education boards was also rejected.— I (P.A.)
