The establishment of a permanent fund of £lOO, of which he would donate the first £lO, to commemorate in England with a wreath each year the late Lord Bledisloe, was envisaged by the Prime Minister (Mr Nash) at today’s annual wreath-laying ceremony on the grave of Edward Gibbon Wakefield. Mr Nash’s statement, which was warmly approved by the large gathering, was in answer to a suggestion by the president of the Early Settlers’ and. Historical Association, Professor E. P.
