COMMERCIAL Easier Trend On Sharemarket

After a week of distinctly “bullish” activity, an easier trend was shown on the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday.

Ballins Breweries, Dunlop, N.Z., Fletcher Holdings, McKenzies and Reid Murray and Matea Forests all sold at slightly lower prices than in previous business.

N.Z. Refrigerating, Fletcher Holdings, M.C.P. and Forest Products were firmer. Turnover, spread over a representative range of securities, was well maintained. QUOTATIONS IN CHRISTCHURCH CHRISTCHURCH 7
