Woolbrokers reported that 14,200 bales were offered and a 99 per cent, clearance was made. The selection offered included mainly comebacks and crossbreds drawn from a wide area covering all districts supporting the Melbourne market. The chief buyers included the Eastern European countries, the Continent, United Kingdom and local mills. Crossbred prices included: good to super 80Id: good to super 56’s, 74d: and good to super 50’s, 68d.
