WOODCHESTER HOME
Building Progress On Hospital
Construction is progressing well at the new hospital at Woodchester Presbyterian Eventide Home, Banks avenue, and it is hoped to have it completed in time for the opening in September. The hospital will contain two four-bed’ units, and four single beds, with living-in accommodation for nurses. The medical equipment used will be of the most modern kind. The hospital is being built to accommodate women residents at the home who require hospital care and attention. It is hoped, however, to provide four mobile beds which will give assistance to people nursing an invalid in their homes. These beds will be available for short periods only.
