U.K. COTTON INTERESTS
Trade Mission To N.Z. (N.Z Press Assoeiautm—Comnoht) MELBOURNE, February 19. The United Kingdom Cotton Board has announced that a trade mission representing the industry will shortly visit Australia and New Zealand. ' The mission will be led by Mr Cyril Harrison, managing director of the English Sewing Cotton Company, Ltd., who is the president of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce. Other members will be Mr L. F. Cockcroft, director of John Cockcroft and Sons, Ltd., Mr J. W. F. Morton, chairman of Morton Sundour Fabrics, Ltd., and Mr T. D. F. Powell of the Cotton Board. The mission will- have discussions with the local industry on matters of common interest, will make a study of present conditions in the markets, and will establish contacts with leading Australian and New Zealand users of British textiles and with others who may be interested in problems affecting this trade.
