With first place in the freestyle, diving and backstroke senior championship events. Isohel ’ McLeod won the Rangi-ruru School senior swimming championship with 16 points. Katherine Ashton was second with nine points. In the intermediate section, Sheryn McLachlan, with a first in the backstroke and second place in the freestyle and breaststroke events, won the championship with 11 points. Gaining six points, Sally Calder was second. Sarah Johnston won the JUixior championship with second place in the freestyle, breaststroke and .diving, and third in the backstroke.
