Greek Favourite
(Rec. 8 pjn.) NICOSIA, February 16. A big crowd of Britons and Greek and Turkish Cypriots met freely and in a friendly manner in Nicosia yesterday for the first time for months. They were attending the first meeting staged by the Nicosia Race Club for nearly a year. Greek - Cypriot punters cheered themselves . hoarse when the hot -favourite romped home an easy winner in the first race. Its name was , Dighenis—after the Eoka leader. Colonel George Grivas.
