Tudor Era, ridden by Pete Anderson, led all the way in the mile and a half event,.to win by three lengths and a half. , ( Ekaba, ridden by K. Church, was second, with Mahan (S. Boulmetis) a neck away third. All three place-getters carried 8-2.
