NO ORDINARY DOG^—Leading-Seaman John Trigg, of Sheffield, England, with his Akita-breed dog. Panyau, which was given to him in Kure, while he was in Japanese waters. The dog was a special feature at this year’s Craft’s dog show at Olympia, London. Leading-Seaman Trigg paid £28 to send her to England, and another £50 in quarantine fees.
