WOMAN INJURED IN COLLISION
After two cars had collided at the intersection of Bridge street and Albert street, Ashburton, at 2.15 pan. yesterday, a woman was admitted to the public hospital suffering from minor injuries. She was Mrs P. Byron, of 7 Patching street. Her condition is satisfactory. Mrs Patching was a passenger in a car driven by Mrs Eunice May Fryer, of 14 Baker street. Mrs Fryer’s son, Malcolm, who was also In the car, received cuts to an eye, but was not admitted to hospital.
The driver of the other car was Mrs Rita Myrtle Mitchell, of 120 Bridge street. She was not injured. Both cars were fairly extensively damaged.
